Pages Unaccessable after build all

Pages Unaccessable after build all
I am in the process of transfering my site to a new host.
I have reconfigured links 2 to reflect the new paths.
But after I build all pages I get a 500 internal error
and 'you are not authorized to view page' error as well.
All paths are correct and verified from server admin.
If I type in the url to a category index page into the address box in browser I get a 500 internal error.

The setup is the same as it was on old server except for the pathing.

any assistance on this would be great,

TIA,

Hobbes

Sounds like you are attempting to build your LINKS pages within your cgi-bin. Try building the pages outside of the cgi-bin directory.

Change the $build_root_url and $build_root_path variables in the links.cfg file.

Thanks that worked, it's wierd though becuase on my old server my html pages were under cgi-bin/links/pages and work perfectly. It must have something to do with the new server and how they set it up or something.

Thanks for the help Eliot.:)

That is done for "security" purposes...
