I was curious if it's possible to have on the new page the categories sorted in a random order each time. For instance, instead of Category A, then Category B, then C, etc, it could randomize the order of the categories, so the same category didn't get top listing each time on the new and cool pages.

Is this already been made into a mod? If not, how hard would it be to do?

Since I'm here, another question.

Would it be possible to remove the date sorting on the new and cool pages? Just have one long list of links sorted by (randomized, hehe) category.
