No date for line

No date for line
I just transferred my links directory to a new server. When I build my pages through telnet, I receive the following warning:

Code:
Updating New and Popular Records. . .
Warning: No date for line: |||||||||No|No||||||. Skipping . .
Despite that warning my pages seem to be built just normally. Could anyone expand on what this is supposed to mean? Thanks in advance.

Did you make any changes to your links.def file???
Did you add any new fields?
Did you transfer your files all in ASCII mode?
Does this new server have Perl 5.00503 or 5.6 installed with all the appropriate modules (like Local.pm)?

Thanks for your reply.

I uploaded the files in ASCII mode when necessary.

The only changes I made to links.def are password, keyword and isBest fields. Had no probs with that on my old server.

There is a module called locale on my new server.

The Perl version is Perl 5.006, same as on my old server.

Guess hat doesn't help a lot, right..?

Are you sure that's not just a blank entry?

Yes, Junko, you were right. I found the mistake: a blank entry in links.db. Thanks a lot! Smile
