Why is it that when I test the Newsletter and Linkowners Mass mailing the tags will not work.
<%Contact Email%> is ok
<%field_name%>,<%Hits%> will not work....
Yur help would be appreciated.

Those tags are mot availabe for use in the newsletter. Only <%Contact Email%> is available in the newsletter.

The mail for links owners can include any <%field_name%> that matches a field in links.def. For an example, <%URL%> for the URL field (URL is substituted for field_name).

I'm also having problem with emailing to all Link owners. I'd tried to use the <%field_name%> tag with my message that is less than 100 words, but instead, I received reply from them asking me what am I talking about.

What they'd received is only:
>Unkown Tag: field_name

Duh...you have to use your own field names in the %db_def hash in the links.cfg file. Replace field_name with the EXACT field name in your database!
