New spammer

New spammer
I am plagued by a new spammer, who submits links that end in .de.vu. He gives an email address that goes like www.(something).de.vu@favicons.de, and the URL is always the www.(someting).de.vu part of the email addres.
I have midified add.cgi and links.cfg, as suggested in the thread about the German spammers, but with no result.
Extra annoying is, that he submits data, with in the ID field a date instead of the next number in the database, so you have to reset the last number added too every time.
This happens since last weekend.
Is there anybody with the same problem? and how can we attack this?
I would prefer a way to exclude submissions that end in .vu Would that be possible?

Hi, I did two things, and one (or both) seem(s) to help:

- I used a MOD, that I found through this forum, on http://lookhard.hypermart.net/links-mods/blockurls.html and I put "de.vu" in the blockurl.txt file.

- I mailed the owner of the de.vu domain at support@sektion.de in a polite way, and he replied within one day (also politely) that he would have my domain excluded from the robot list immediately.

Today I am free from "de.vu" submissions.... I hope this will remain so!
It is a big problem indeed. I fear that more of us will have to suffer from this robot and I hope for an effective robot MOD.
I wonder how he comes through my add-confirm MOD and how he passes the links.cfg requirement that links only may be submitted from my domain.
