OK. I'm back at it...after watching the election.

I get the following error msg when I Build all ( just 3 categories and 1 link )

Backing up database . . .
Backing up links, category and email database (File::Copy) ...

CGI ERROR

Error Message : Unable to copy links backup. Reason: Permission denied
Script Location : /home/esm/cgi-bin/links/admin/nph-build.cgi


I downloaded the permissions text file and I've set and reset the permissions...

And I don't see any pages created. I see the templates directory and the files but..

My links.cfg look like

$build_root_path = "/home/esm/pages";
$build_root_url = "http://www.mysite.com/pages";

Finally, what is the URL address to use when I am ready to call this thing? In other words, if I want to give the URL to someone else so they can look at my site, what URL do I give them? But that assumes I know what the html page name is.

I must have missed something somewhere cause I don't see where this is shown in the 3 page users manual...
