Does anybody know of a mailing list solution for a lot of addresses that won´t bother the web and smtp server? (ie, letting you specify a delay between each message sent).
I need to send some mass email but I really doubt I can use the newsletter function for all these addresses.
Would there be any mod available for this?

This would be highly problematic. What you could consider doing is breaking up your email database into multiple databases, then use multiple nph-email.cgi files to send out messages.
