I was in the process of deleting a link that was no longer active, my connection dropped during the deleteing and when i returned I had a ton! of -ve numbers in many of my categories over 500! -ve's.
when you go to the categories there are no links listed??
any idea on how I can correct this problem?

Use backups of categories.db and links.db files. Don't know where your backups are? LOOK in the backup folder.
