is the links sql the same base as links2.0, what who's the easier and what i need to use links sql,

Don't know what you mean by "base", but they are totally different programs.

Links 2.0 -

1) Flat file based
2) Uses regular Perl
3) No dynamic mode

Links SQL -

1) MySQL/DBI based (ports available for MSQL/Oracle)
2) Uses Strict Perl
3) Dynamic mode available

There are, of course, many other differences.

Links SQL, especially with the NEW BETA Links SQL v2.0. Read the product information page for more information on what you need...it is plainly stated in the product page regarding server requirements.
