My scripts were all running fine until I added a new mod,
Heres whats going on.;
When I add a new link - It works fine,
When I build all - It works fine,
It builds a whats new category OK,
But -
When i go to view the category listings - Its not there ???
All the old ones are listing OK - But - Not the new ones...

Can anyone please point me in the right direction ?? Clues
would be appreciated,

hehehe, Doesnt hurt to explore the obvious.

That was the first and second thing I did,

The script is writing to the database but- its just not showing
on the category page...Also the only new mod that I have been messing with
is the ratings & Priority Logo mod...I removed the logo mod...I think
I put everything back the way it should be, as everthing else is working,

Any other clues,

I just another thing,
I changed my number of links from 25 to 15 which would build another page,
It built another page ok, but - The original still builds with the original amount of links,
with no break, before you ask ;-) I deleated the pages from the server before the rebuild
and cleared my cache before and after the rebuild just to be sure...

Now Im starting to go alittle crazy, I know Im over looking something -
but - what????

If you remove a Mod that involves adding fields to the links.def and links.db file, then guess what, you have to REMOVE that field from your database file!

Did you upload the new links.cfg file to your server before re-building your directory?

First - Sorry about the first post, but it was better to handle it here,
havent been in this new forum until Today.

Anyway, to the last post,
1) I thought I did remove any extra fields that I installed...
2) Yes, I uploaded before the rebuild...

The question or questions I have and cant seem to resolve, are..

1) If i configure the links config to set XXX number of links per page
why does it always print the total of the links to the first index page ???
( Like I went from 25 per page to 15)
It builds the second page alright, but on the original index it display's all of them,
I deleted the pages on the server and the cache and rebuilt, still the same problem...

I did rebuild the database with the extra field at one time but only added one listing
do you think that would corrupt the database?? even if the field was #17 ??
