I have receintly updated to the new links program. It is possible to import the old database to this new script? I would not like to start the entire database over again.

If you mean Links 1.1 to Links 2.0, use the upgrade.pl file that comes with the LINKS 2.0 package. Same thing for Links 2.0 to LINKS SQL.
