Please, help!!! I notice that links ID from my Linksv2.0 are simply out of order! It repeats ID'S and one ID have MORE than one website registered! So, the description of a website doesn't match to the respective URL. Take a look:

Trying to solve the problem I discovered that links.db has the wrong permission set (644) instead of (666) but permission is DENIED when i tried to solve this mess. What can I do??? How do I fix the bug without losing all of my registered URL's with matching ID? I also discovered that email.db is not keeping the emails, it has only 5 registers!!! PLEASE, HELP!

Ok, linkid.txt does not match with the number of links in my directory... it shows 136 when the right number is 162. What should i do?
The only way to solve permission problem is to modify nph-build.cgi??? You are telling me that my server changed the permission 666 on file links.db to 644 alone?
How can I fix the id bugs without losing my database? I have to re-add the matching ids?

First, follow the instructions in the thread I have posted and change nph-build.cgi accordingly. Then, change your linkid.txt file to the number of links in your database and upload it (set permissions to 666). Always keep a backup of your database in case you apply hacks or modifications.

Ok... I did everything you asked for... nph-build.cgi is working ok after the changes, no error messages... but now, HOW can I solve the doble URLs in only one ID? I will have to delete all and register again?

Glad you got your nph-build.cgi working again. I don't know any other advice than to manually edit the ID field in your links.db. As mentioned above, make sure that the number in your linkid.txt file corresponds to the number of links in your database.

I can't belive!!!! After changing the nphbuild.cgi and correcting the number of links in database the program worked ok for some days but the problem CAME BACK!!!! What should I do now???
