Links 2.0 fails to display 'new' gif...
Links 2.0 fails to display my new.gif on a third subdirectory for some reason. All works fine up to First_category/second_category. When First_category/second_category/third_category is made the 'new.gif' fails to appear. Help please.

Thank you,

Have you made any changes to the sub site_html_print_cat routine in the site_html_templates.pl file? If so, that may have something to do with it.

Eliot, i did put a <img src=""> in place of
the and that is why it wont see the gif when more sub categories are added. I replaced it back with with a added
<font color="#FFFF00> and it works fine for now. And yes, this was added to the 'sub site_html_print_cat' section. Is it possible to get a gif to display no matter how many category/sub/directories/you/have ? Ive seen it done... anyways, Thanks

Darrell,

Kurt.... if ya messed with the 'site_html_templates.pl' at the bottom on the
'sub site_html_print_cat' section that will do it. All i can tell you. Good luck.

I did the same thing with replacing the .css coding with a new image and worked fine for me. I don't know why it doesn't work for you.

Eliot, i dont see how you can get an image in the sub site_html_print_cat routine to work under all sub categories. The path stays the same on the image entry, "../../../images/blah.gif" If its set to 1 path how does it read your image directory path when you add 4 or 5 subcategories?

Looks like that is my problem. I have the SubCategories like Yahoo! mod also installed and working. Has anyone else used both of these and got them working? Or can someone give me a hand getting them both to work?

Thanks,

Kurt
