Links2.0 and ICQ
hello,

Just wondering if there was a way to incorporate the ICQ online status indicator to each link to see if a link is online. I am using it for a webcam resource and it would be cool to allow the visitors to see if the cam was online. Thanks

I am not sure exactly what you want to do. But in terms of creating an applet that will connect to your database and show whether the "link" is active would take a lot of work.

Actually, the online indicator is just a url, for example, mine is http://online.mirabilis.com/...icq=575661&img=5

You could add a field called ICQ number and edit your template to show the url + the icq number.. Not too hard really.
