I was testing the link verification process on the script I just installed. If I put a domain that doesn't exist and click verify links it gives me a Success (200) message even though the domain doesn't even exist.
However if I put in a url of a page that doesn't exist on one of my regular existing domains, It gives me a request failed message as it should.
Although this shouldn't present much of a problem unless someone mistypes a url or a domain goes under and removes their server. I would like to fix this.
Has anyone else noticed this problem or did I do something wrong when installing the script or the LWP module that the link checker uses.
Or is this just a bug in the link checker?
Thanks for any info.
