You should've saved the file and opened it. If you had done this...you would've seen the following error message:

Code:
require "/absolute/path/to/cgi-bin/links/admin/links.cfg";

2) The absolute paths are incorrect for the $db_script_path variable in the links.cfg file.

BTW: This type of question should be raised in the Installation Forum.
