It's assigning link ID's that are already assigned
Somehow I am getting links ID numbers duplicated!!!
Two different links, same link number. I have like 1010 links but my linksid.txt says 68, which strangly if the last link added and also a duplicate link ID!
Here if what the bottom of my links.db file looks like....
1932|
1934|
1935|
1938|
1941|
68|

And this is after I went in and straightened them all out!
The numbers weren't in order and gaps were between numbers.
Shouldn't Links check to see if a number is already in use? And if there is no number 32 or whatever then use that number next?
Should I straighten them all out, put them in order and fill the gaps up so if I have a 1000 links then number them 1-1000 and put 1000 in the linksid.txt file?
Or just put them in order, forget the gaps and put the right number in linksid.txt?

Any help will be greatly appeciated<spelling?>.

Make sure linksid.txt is CHMOD 666 or 644. You might want to try the ID regenerator (http://www.camelsoup.com/?view=id_regen) I wrote for someone a couple months ago.
