Is links 2.0 able to crash a server?
Well, yesterday I received an email from my hosts admin, telling me, his server got crashed because of cpu usage from my account. The only cgi I am using is links 2.0, so, if he's right blaming my account, only links could have done the crash. And that's my question, is it able to do so?
I have about 100 links in 8 categories, building my pages every 2 days.

It is very possible...depending on your server's hardware (memory, RAM, etc.). Also, you might've improperly installed a modification...and there could be a loop that you have neglected to close...check the modifications you've installed.

The scripts that take up a lot of server resources are the following:

1) jump.cgi
2) search.cgi
3) rate.cgi

Ask your hosting company which script is the offending one...and don't use it...OR switch hosting companies.
