How to disable Cascading Style Sheets?
I don't want to use CSS, how can I disable it? Please help. All my categories appear in bigger font sizes than I want to. How can I customize this and why is there no option for this? If yes, where? Thanks.

You need to remove the CSS tag in all of your templates.... Smile

You also have to remove all the CSS codes in the sub site_html_print_cat routine in the site_html_templates.pl as mentioned quite a few times in the LINKS 2.0 Forums...

For more info on removing CSS codes, search the LINKS 2.0 Support Forums for CSS.

Why in the world would you want to disable CSS? You have -far- more control with CSS than with any other method... also, several tags (such as the Font tag) are will no longer be supported in future versions of HTML.

personally, i avoid some of the standard tags that the default template uses (H1, H2, and so on).

If you want precise control of your font size, define it in pixels -- the downside is that the browser may not be able to kern/letter space correctly, but the upside is that the font will be nearly identical on both the Mac and PC. Defining the fonts in points is hazardous as the point size is affected by the environment ppi and can give you wildly different font sizes across browsers/platforms. (older browsers on both mac and pc operate at 72 ppi, but the newest versions of Internet Explorer and Navigator operate at 96ppi)
