Help! New link ID's are overwriting old ID's...
Hi,

Since yesterday I have the following problem with my Links 2.0: the new links, waiting for validation, become ID-numbers from the old. If I validate them, they will overwrite existing links.

The situation is: I have about 1070 validated links in the database. But because of many rejected links, the last ID's were about 6300. There are many "empty" ID's also. Till yesterday, the new links were getting 6301, 6302, 6303... - but suddenly they become ID's like 1, 2, 3...

What should I do? I think, the capacity of my Links are not overflow now...

Your problem resides in a corrupted linksid.txt file. You need to reset the number in that file to the last number you have in your links.db file. And make sure that the linksid.txt file is set to 666 (rw-rw-rw-)
