I'v got two problems.
1. The links IDs are repeated. Initially everything was OK, but now all new links being added get IDs that have been already given to another links before.
What can I do with that?

2. I can not change the number of days a link is considered New.
I edit $db_new_cutoff in links.cfg but it doesn't work.
Before everything was OK. What might be wrong?

I assume that these two problems have arose at the same time.

And one more question:
Is it possible to display links in a category at random but not according to rating. So a random order of links will be in a category every time.

1. Did you perhaps delete entries and assigned the deleted link ID to new entries? It seems that your database is corrupted. Also check if you have a valid linksid.txt file corresponding to the actual number of entries in your database.

2. Editing $db_new_cutoff should work...

3. There is at least one modification in the Resource Center that permits you to display your links at random order.

1. You were 100% right!
Thw problem was in the linksid.
2. I hope $db_new_cutoff doesn't work as a result of corrupted data.
3. I'v found the mod you are talking about. It's not I need exactly but it's useful anyway.
