I installed links on a unix server for a client. Each time I update a file and reupload it, the permissions are changed, and I have to reset them to the correct value. My client has run into the following difficulties...

1. Can not publish to ****.net root web.
2. Forms fail when published to any gpab.net subweb.
Re: #2. at first I thought it was my software. However, when tested at
other sites the Forms worked fine! The test was on the same server but
totally different URLs--we have the same webhosting firm)

HELP?!

Maybe they have not activated his account as one that needs the FP extensions.

They have, and they have also reinstalled FP extensions. Previous to the install of links everything worked fine. Now they dont. (Uploading via frontpage, formmail...)
