When a search is made and the visitors click on the link, the jump.cgi give this error:

Error: Can't find link id: 4

Furthermore, is it normal that i add a category but i cant c any new directories listing the categories? Because when i search for a category, the link doesn`t exist.

Have you run a database build since adding link #4 or the new category? If not, that would explain both problems. The search pages are dynamic, so they will show links/categories that are not yet built (i.e. static).
