I was wondering if anybody here knows how to do this. I've searched for hours trying to find a way but can't seem to find anything.

What I would like to do is to set up a cron job which will run nightly and back up selected files and directories, zip them, and then email them to me.

If anybody knows how to do this, or if it's possible, please let me know.

1) Execute the nph-build.cgi via Cron, which includes the BACKUP option.

2) Search this forum for tar.gz and you will find Threads where codes have been provided to backup all your data files into a tar.gz file.
