When I validate a link it does not send email to the webmaster of that site. However, I get an email saying that some one has added a link and please validate it! The system also sends email if I reject the link. All the email functions work fine except for validation email to the Webmaster!
Does any one know why?

Hello Perjad, when you validate your new link are you getting any errors from Links Manager? Next, add a link using your own email address and see if you recieve a validation email when you validate it. Kinda hard to predict why this is happening since its sending reject mail.

Yes I tried validating a site under my own email. It doesnt send me any emai!
If I reject it then it will send it to me.
Which file is responsible for validation?

May be the script is altered and thats why its not sending emails!

Now thats very odd, you sure everything for sending mail is set correctly in 'links.cfg' ? This has me kinda stumped. Maybe post another question with 'Mail won't send when validated, why?' as the Topic... This might get more responces. Good luck.

There was a mistake in Links.cfg
# Notify visitors automatically when their links are modified?
$db_email_modify = 1;
I had it set to "0"
thats why it wasnt sending email!
It took me a week to fix this simple mistake
