When I first installed Links v2.0, I ran the Verify Links, Quick Check and Detailed, without problems. After trying to do so again recently, I can no longer get it to work. Nothing happens for a while, then I get the annoying, "document contains no data."

I'm wondering if this has to do with the number of new links. Of the 521 links, 520 are currently new. The reason I wonder this is that Build All and Staggered often time out when they get to the New Links section. More so with every new link added. Could the Verify routine also be "timing out?"

If building is a problem, it probably is just a time out error...the fact that it dies on the new page now means it will probably choke once all those links drop to not new status.

I've never had trouble with build, but did with verify. I have much better success with verify when I run it directly from the command line for some reason...maybe this will work for you?

I've been trying the verify routine through telnet, per your advice. It gets through the first ten or so links (out of 600), then terminates. I guess that's better than my success rate through the browser, but not by much. Any other ideas? I'll keep trying and see if I get a better "connection."

I actually wouldn't be offended if you were to borrow the design, seeing as how they originated mostly from "splicing" several other images. I've gotten fairly good at modifying graphics to my liking, but not so good at creating them from scratch (I think you need to be artistic or something for that ).
