My host (virtualave) is very slow, so build all times out. I don't have that many links (1000), so I thought I could run build staggered. Well, I can, but it isn't the same as build all. The top categories don't say how many links the subcategories have.
For example if I have a category:
Top/Images
and a subcategory:
Top/Images/Rotating
and Top/Images/Rotating has 40 links
while Top/Images (by itself) has 0 links
when I look at the category Top and I see Top/Images, it says:
Images (0).
When I click on Top/Images, it says:
Rotating (40).
Is this supposed to happen, and if it is, does anyone have a mod which makes build staggered the same as build all?

Not sure...but you get for what you pay for. In terms of efficiency, you can't expect large apps like LINKS with a lot of data to run smoothly...might want to consider biting the bullet and buying an inexpensive hosting package that has all the features you need to run a LINKS-based web site.

Hey, for all those people who have problems, check out this telnet script:

Install it and run it (it's a telnet simulator).
To run nph-build.cgi, type in "perl nph-build.cgi" and that's it.
