I don't know cgi very well, so maybe the question I ask sounds stupid, but I have implented some new fields in the add link feature and now i want the script to track a hit in an other field that is used as a link. Any suggestions?

1) Copy the jump.cgi and hack it to increment the field you want to track.
2) Copy the build_update_ratings subroutine and use the field you want to track.
3) Create a directory called something like newfield in the data directory.
4) Change the permission of this directory to 777.
