When pages are created in links 2 they are static as to say if I create a catagory called apples and I put into that catagory all the sites that have to do with apples from the links home page there appears under catagoyr apples you click there and it brings up everything that is apples

Now for the question

can I link to that catagory apples page from another page that is not on my site at all or in order to bring up everything apples do you have to be on my site somewhere in links?

I hope You Can Understant What I Am Trying To Say

Do you want to display your content on another server or do you just wish to link to your category?
You can link to your categories like that:

http://www.yourdomain.com/Apples

Yes, couponangel, you can use the category link on a website or in email. As long as you haven't deleted that category, it should work fine for you. As you add new sites and rebuild the database, a refresh/reload may be necessary to see the new content but the URL is static even though the pages are basically being rebuilt as you add/modify/delete anything in that category.

Example: http://www.cwowfoundation.org/ is a Christian website that I run. I use Links 2.0 to manage the membership and other various links as you can see at http://www.cwowfoundation.org/links If someone wants to go straight to the member category, the link is http://www.cwowfoundation.org/links/CWOWMembers

Hope that helps!
