I just wanted to know the max number of pages someon got on their xav search thing. I tried it but it died after a few thousand pages. Thanks,

Look in "$Rules{'Crawler: Max Pages Per Batch'}"
I use for a good speed this:
$Rules{'Crawler: Max Pages Per Batch'} = 20;

I am not quite sure exactly how many files I have in my database but I'm guessing at about 5000 files altogether. My index file for the search is up to about 5megs and it running perfectly.
