I used to use a "mod" for the image displays in the past but I actually found it easier to just create a directory somewhere on the site and to just place images named ##.gif depending on the ID number of the link.
On the template just place and image there next to the place where the title is supposed to be displayed.
something along the lines as..
<IMG SRC=
http://www.yourdomain.com/imagedirectory/linkimages/<%ID%>.gif>
when the page is created the part that sais, <%ID%> will be replaced with the actual id number of the link. so it will end up looking something along the lines as
http://www.yourdomain.com/...ry/linkimages/32.gif You can set the heith and with too but dont cause in the future some images are going to be larger than others so as to make them stand out more.
you just gotta make sure that you go to your linkimages directory and place a image named 32.gif on it, ptherwise you will get a little empty box with an X there.
You could if you want ad a new field to your database (in links.def) called pics.
But then you will have to modify all your forms to reflect the new database entry. The advantage to that method however is that your users can imput their own address to where ever the picture is on the web.
and then you could have that picture displayed on the links pages where ever you place the <%Pic%> tag.
