Hello when trying to modify an URL users are getting an error.

It has been translated into spanish but it more less reads... "You have alredy voted, please come back later" I try several times, waiiting a few minutes in between, no luck.

Any ideass where to start. Error does not happen all the time or to everyone ??

Are you sure you are referring to Modify URL??? The error indicates an "error" in the RATE IT script!

You have to re-build your site in order to delete all the rating files in the /admin/data/ratings/ folder. The script is set up for users to only vote/rate links once during a certain time period.

100% Ellito, It's weird. It happens -not all the time- but whe a user tryes to modify the listing. You input the ID, password, it comes back with current listing, the you make changes and SEND. The error page comes back then. ?!?

Which looks like the correct error message...meaning that I've inputted the wrong ID/Password combination.

Which is the error qdice is referring too. Strange.

Eliot, you probably misstyped the ID/password, the error is there:

"Ya hemos recibido tu voto. Por favor, trata de nuevo más tarde."

"We have recieved your vote, try later"

It only happens with a few users, not all..... Any ideas ?

Well, i just tried it and it said;

A ocurrido un error al querer modificarlos datos de tu Sitio/URL: Ya hemos recibido tu voto. Por favor, tratade nuevo más tarde.

I think you have a cahed problem maybe. Try deleting all of your temp file onyour computer, and also your history. That shoulds make the server re-downloadthe page.

In this caxe, showing us the error message isn't very usefull in solving the problem. You'll need to doulble check your templates and the script. Can you attach a copy of modify.cgi and it's templates?
