I have a site that has a layout that looks like this:

Anyway, I would like to keep that layout, is it possible for me to do that if I use Link 2.0? Also, I'm not that knowledgeable on Perl and CGI and was wondering if Link 2.0 is hard to figure out? As you can probably see, I already have a rating system that I found for free on the CGI resource web-site before I found Gossamer's Link 2.0 script and I found out that the free script lacks a lot of what I want...So, I would just like to know whether or not you'd think I should go ahead and try it or just stick to what I've got at the moment? Also, in the readme file, there's a part that says:
"Remember: Please be careful with the script as it does create
directories and other potentially hazardous stuff."
For a person that doesn't know CGI/Perl too well (or at all), should that worry me?
Few more questions that I forgot to mention: Is it possible for me to completely change the CSS code to the CSS code that I use currently? Also, what file extension does Links 2.0 require? Can I just stick with HTML?
