I had a little problem installing it but I resolved it. I am no perl expert or programmer but just wanted others to know just in case they run into the same situation. I had to chmod my index.html page to 666. I noticed the problem when I tried to build. This may not work for others but definitely worked for me.

This problem was addressed in another Thread in the Links 2.0 Discussion Forum. The problem is that you should NOT chmod your ROOT directory to 777 due to security risks...that is why changing the permission of the "index" file to read/write (666 - rw-rw-rw-) is appropriate and necessary.
