one idea is click the Duplicate Check link in the bottom left of the Validate page before you add the link

As an after the fact check you can run the Check Dup. routine in the Links section of the Admin Menu.

I'm not sure if there is a mod to automatically check this when you initally click the validate link.

I suspect some allow duplicate links. I have.
