I have hundreds of normal html links with descriptions. Like this:

I have a fresh installement of Links2, and I was wondering how I need to modify the links in order to get these to load into bulkload.cgi. Will I need to add fields to each link with the date stamp|rating|category etc?

yes you must edit the file "pending.txt" which's working with bulkload.cgi

but without the ID's

I went and downloaded this program, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. There doesn't seem to be much information on how to run the program on the site.

I would recommend contacting the Mod Author. Others have experienced problems with this Mod.
