There was an automatic installer once, in the early B stage of Links, which actually worked, problem was,it
was server remote, has disappeared since.
Now i found a simple Installer script at the "YaBB" Site, which is a great BBS that can easily be integrated
into Links. They have the Source on :

Maybe one of you Guys could fiddle around a bit. I think it could be modified to go with Links.

I've actually been thinking of doing something like this. Mine would detect the path to perl first, so the user could change the appropriate path in the cgi's. Then it would set up directories, chmod etc. Anyway, hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get something like this working. It's a cool idea that would save people from a lot of headaches.
