speeding Gmail by indexing, etc?
Hi all,

Besides mod_perl, are there other ways to speed up Gmail? Could someone explicitly give some steps in inproving speed.
1) indexing username?
2) indexing table's fields, etc?
3) etc ?

Thank you, peter

Hi.

1. proxied mod_perl back end httpd
2. lightweight frontend httpd (ie no mod_perl)
3. mod_gzip
4. server configuration.

That should be it.
