another bcc scenario

another bcc scenario
I am running sendmail. Thought it was weird that bcc can come from the outside and the user gets it, but not from within. See the senarios below. I looked at other threads, but could not find my exact problem.

Another BCC senario:

User A - outside email address
User B - outside email address
User C - Gmail email address
User D - Gmail email address
User E - Gmail email address

From C gmail
To A outside
bcc B outside

A gets it
B gets it
------------

From C gmail
To A outside
bcc B outside and C gmail

A gets it
B gets it
C does not get it
------------

From B outside
To A outside
bcc C gmail

A gets it
C gets it
------------

From C gmail
To D gmail
bcc E gmail

D gets it
E does not get it

Can you post the headers of the email that got to B?

I emailed the exact headers and body to you.

I've looked at the headers, and its essentially the same issue as all the other BCC problems that everyone has - your mail server is not adding the appropriate headers needed to figure out who mail is delivered. You need to change your sendmail configuration to add in the appropriate header to the email so that Gossamer Mail's incoming.pl knows who the mail is being delivered to.

The reason that some BCC emails do get through is because the email address is added to the Recieved header (as it went through several different mail servers).
