Problems with info TLD
Hi,

I have problems to send Mails to .info (myabe the 4 letters tld) domains.

When I send a Mail to somebody@somedomain.info I get an error message (enter a valid adress), but the mail is send.

I'm using version 2.0.6

Any ideas?

I just tested it on a 2.0.6 install and it didn't return an error on send. Do you mean your email bounced? Or did you get an error from Gossamer Mail?

Hi,

it's an Gossammer error message, but the Mail is send out.

I'm using the german translation from Holger Mali.

What's the error message (translate it if it's in german)? Gossamer Mail doesn't do a very complicated check on the email address (the regex is something like [^\@]+@.*\..*), so I'm not sure why it's giving you an error when sending mail to a .info address.

The message is :

No recipient, or an invalid recipient was entered! The 'To' line must be a comma seperated list of valid emails or address book nicknames.

(I take the Original template)

Okay, let's see... This is the regex that's used to check the email address entered
Code:
/^(?:[^<>]+(?:(?:\s+)|<))?\S+\@\S+\.\S+>?$/
Which matches with your email address. I'm not sure why it would return an error, yet send the email. Have you tried it on our demo (http://freemail.gossamer-threads.com)? It's just been upgraded to 2.1.0.

Hi,

checked it on your demo ...worked.

Must be a problem with my server, the .info adresses are

on the same server, I checked an adress outside...worked,

sorry for that...my fault.

No problems, 2.1.0 will be out soon, so it hopefully will work properly on your server.
