I may be changing from a dedicated server to shared server (so I won't have root access) and wondered what the implications would be for gmail? I'm assuming I will have to ask my host to set up the cronjobs, but what else is there to consider?

You'll need to be able to setup a catchall account of course. Also, if the mail server isn't adding the appropriate headers, Gossamer Mail won't be able to deliver Bcc'ed emails.

That's all I can think of right now.
