A Bounced message has :

X-Gloop: Gossamer Mail
X-Loop: Gossamer Mail

in headers. Could this be replaced with something more generic. Though this question has been asked before, and i know it is outgoing.pl but could all occurrences of Gossamer Mail in outgoing.pl be replaced with something more generic without breaking the install... GM2.2

The value of this X-Gloop header actually isn't used (but the header's presence is). So you can change the value of the header to whatever you want.

Oops, I'll have to take that back. It does check for Gossamer Mail in the X-GLoop header. So unless you make all those changes too, I wouldn't recommend changing it.

Actually I refrained form changing the same for one prime reason. An earlier thread on the same subject had recommendations of replacing six occurrences of that in outgoing.pl.

But the seventh occurence in that "if" clause was not mentioned so that confused me a bit.

So if all the SEVEN occurrences of "Gossamer Mail" were to be replaced with something more generic wouldit be recommended.
