You might have to try this one to see what happens.
When logged in as a user I receive a number of emails in. Then if I reply to one of those of those emails, a copy of the reply is placed into the 'Sent' folder, so now the 'Sent' folder has a count of 1.
Then after replying to the email, I go back into my inbox and select all the messages and choose to delete them - they are then successfully moved into the trash folder.
The bug happens here because the sent folder now still has a count of 1, but when you click into the 'sent' folder to view the message nothing is displayed.
But, if you go into your trash folder and delete the messages in there waiting to be finally trashed, the 1 message still in the 'Sent' folder suddenly becomes visible again.
Does that make sense?
