Is the new software out yet? I don't want to buy and install this verison now and having to go through update struggles in a couple of days or weeks later. When will the new version be out? Will there be an increase of price?

Yes, there will be an increase in price as it will contain a lot of new features. There will be an easy upgrade path for existing users, so I recommend purchasing now.
