I am trying to get subcategories to list without a <br> any ideas? I am not using the style sheets

I have tried this but as stated get the <br> Which file controls the sub category layout?

You need to also look at the nph-build.cgi file. In the print_cat routine there is some html code that is inserted around the subcategory html. It's tricky to edit, but you can get the finer control by doing it.

If you are using page.cgi -- you also need to edit the similar routine in that file as well.
