We recently changed hosts and they are helping us set up shop, but the read me file is all gobbledegook, and cant be read, is there any way of seeing it as an html file? or is it here somewhere?

Do you mean for Links SQL v.1.X? Try unzipping the ZIP file and then opening the README file. Voila, there it is. And if you don't have a local saved copy of the tar.gz or ZIP file in your local computer, then that is your mistake.

It could also be that you uploaded the ReadMe in binary format, instead of ASCII - try downloading it again in ASCII format to see if that put's it right?
