I know that after I do an import, I need to run the re-index.
Do I have to run the nph-index.cgi everyday, or does nph-build.cgi automatically do this?

The index is automatically maintained when you do adds/deletes/modifies from the admin.cgi program. If you change any of the data outside of Links SQL (using the import, or other mainpulation), you need to run nph-index.cgi.

You shouldn't need to run it otherwise.
