backup + subcategory

Hi,

1- while building my database I notice backup disabled, how can I enable it? Should I ?

2 – My main page shows al category and subcategory , how can I maintain only main categories shown?.

Look in the Links.pm file.

Really? The default configuration only shows main categories. How did you get the subcategories to appear?

I just followed the way creating subcategory by clicking on add under the category menu in my admin and for Name I entered something lie:

Computers/Companies

BTW, I have non-english language in my website,

So, there was a modification where I have an extra category field called Directory in alphanumeric English translation, and the field Name that show up on the website in other language.

Does that effect?
