TO see it work, use your cgi-url:
http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/Links_dir/page.cgi
That will generate pages on the fly.
You can change templates:
http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/Links_dir/page.cgi?t=yahoo
For example, if you installed the other templates. It lets you change the look of the site very easily.

Check out the FAQ for some more hints and help on page.cgi and things to change in the templates to make it work right.
Those changes will work without page.cgi as well, but you can't hard-code paths if you want page.cgi to be able to dynamically work with them.
