I have tried installing the Priority links mod, which has very effectively taken all of the links that I want to have priority, and placed them (in the correct order) as the VERY LAST links in any category. Unfortunately, this does not help me out very much (I don't hate anyone that much).

I have altered the Links.pm as stated in pugdogs FAQ's and no matter what order I try (with Priority DESC, isPopular, isNew, and Title) it will not take them from the bottom of the list. Is there someplace else that I need to look, that does the sorting?

Do you have links placed in alternate categories (i.e. one link in more than one category)? It sounds like you do, based on the problem. I don't believe there's a way around that with 1.11, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a fix in the upcoming version.

For now, remove the alt category listings for the links in a category you want to check the Priority sort for, and see if that category is then sorted correctly.

Hopefully there will be a real fix for that in the next links.

The logic for processing categories and alt-links has changed, and that will hopefully allow better, more accurate sorting.

We are all holding our breath, (and turning blue) but we should know something soon.

Yes, I am using the alt categories. I was hoping for a fix in this version, since the new one appears to have really stalled out on it's release.
